PFL 10 Betting Preview: Bubba Jenkins vs. Chris Wade
November 24, 2023
The 2023 PFL 10 will offer many great betting opportunities, one namely between featherweights Bubba Jenkins and Chris Wade. Check out the moneyline for this fight on Friday, November 24, currently set at -150 in favor of Jenkins.
Location: The Anthem in Washington, DC
Date: Friday, November 24, 2023
Main Card: 8:00 PM ET (PPV)
Prelims: 5:00 PM ET (ESPN+)
Bubba Jenkins Betting Preview
Jenkins has gone 2-2 in his last four battles and needs to find some momentum. His last fight was a second round TKO defeat against Jesus Pinedo at the PFL 7 in August earlier this year, which snapped his previous two-fight win streak.
He has accumulated 21 wins that showcase seven knockouts, four submissions, and 10 decisions. Seven of these triumphs have ended in the first round and four of his seven losses are by knockout, which shows he has issues defending here.
“Bad Man” has gone 1-1 in ACB, 8-3 in Bellator and is currently 7-3 in the PFL. He has earned a handful of successes through his career, making him a deadly opponent.
Based on his resume, he now is the 58
th
-best featherweight fighter in the world and has a chance to price himself once again. This should be another entertaining matchup between these two.
Chris Wade Betting Preview
Wade has gone 1-3 in his last four battles and has a tough matchup with bad momentum. His most recent battle was a split decision defeat to Gabriel Braga back in PFL 7 of this year.
His fighting resume shows 23 wins consisting of two knockouts, six submissions, and 15 decisions. He has six first round finishes, which shows he has a handful every now and then. Out of his 10 losses, they have all been by decision.
“The Long Island Killer” has gone 5-2 in the UFC and is now 11-7 in the PFL. He needs to get back on track soon or risk slipping back further into the promotion.
His performances now have him ranked as the 70
th
-best featherweight fighter in the world. A win here would compliment his resume well, espabainst a strong competitor that he has defeated once before.
Odds, Series Trends and Free Pick
MyBookie has the moneyline odds for this fight, which currently shows Bubba Jenkins as a slight favorite to succeed. Based on both fighters recent performances, Jenkins does seem more appealing.
Chris Wade: +115
Bubba Jenkins: -150
This will be the third time these two have faced each other, with both having one win each. In their last fight in April of this year, Jenkins won by unanimous decision, while Wade won the first meeting by unanimous decision in 2021. Overall, Jenkins has shown to be more consistent lately and will likely win by decision.
