The 2023 PFL 10 offers bettors promising opportunities on Friday, November 24. One battle to check out is the Featherweight Championship between Jesus Pinedo and Gabriel Alves Braga, with Braga slightly favored with a moneyline at -130.

Pinedo has won his last two battles prior to his one, with a recent second round TKO victory over Bubba Jenkins in PFL 7 back in August earlier this year. Going back a few fights, his last defeat was to Braga, which was a split decision back at PFL 1 in April.

His resume shows 22 wins that consist of 13 knockouts, four submissions, and five decisions. He has earned 12 first round finishes, making him a threat to end the battle early. He also has six losses, of which four are by decision.

“El Mundo” recently tried his talents with the UFC, going 1-1 in the promotion. Since then, he has joined the PFL and has gone 2-1 against respectable opponents. 

Pinedo has earned the 62^nd spot in the world rankings for best featherweight fighter. A win here would not only boost his career, but it is a chance at redemption since he was so close to winning his battle with Braga last time.

Braga is aiming for another win over Pinedo and to increase his undefeated 12-fight win streak. His recent success was a split decision over Chris Wade back at PFL 7 earlier this year.

He has put together 12 wins that have resulted in five knockouts and seven decisions. Four of these wins have resulted in first round finishes.

He has gone 4-0 in the PFL against established opponents. Prior to joining the PFL, he went 2-0 in the Legacy Fighting Alliance against subpar competition. However, this will be another tough test despite winning the first time.

Braga is currently ranked as the 81^st-best featherweight fighter in the world. He has a lot of work to do against a motivated Pinedo.

MyBookie has this battle slightly in favor of Gabriel Alves Braga to win. The market appears to not only like his resume, but his chances at repeating success over Pinedo.

Braga did a good job in his first battle with Pinedo, but this time might be a bit different. If Pinedo can keep this battle on the ground, he has a golden chance to overtake him by submission or at least earn the decision in his favor. Lately, Pinedo has looked excellent when knocking out opponents and his striking could be more aggressive.
