The Quick Lane Bowl will take place on Tuesday, December 26^th, and will feature the Bowling Green Falcons facing the Minnesota Golden Gophers in Detroit, Michigan at Ford Field with the game scheduled for 2:00 PM ET and will air on ESPN.

 

The Bowling Green Falcons finished the regular season with a record of 7-5 which led to a 3^rd place finish in the East Division of the MAC Conference the Falcons also won five of their final six games including a 34-10 win on the road against the Western Michigan Broncos in the season finale. The success for the Falcons this season can be attributed to their defense as they enter this game allowing an average of 23.5 points per game which is below the national average of 25.75 points per game.
