Last week, we ended up going 3-2 and while it isn't what we want or need, its a step in the right direction after posting 3 straight losing records. We have some good plays this week, some of which may be very chalky, but we still feel good about them and looking for a 5-0 week! Let's jump right in and take a look at this week's Circa plays!

 

San Francisco 49ers -7.5

Our first play of the week is the San Francisco 49ers at -7.5. You most likely won't find this line anywhere under SF -10 now but going off Circa, this was sort of the equivalent of getting a free space in bingo. Cleveland Quarterback Deshaun Watson will miss his 2^nd straight game with a bruised shoulder. Taking into consideration that the Browns had a bye week, so this is the 3^rd week, that must be pretty concerning to the Browns. 

Last game, the Browns started rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who was absolutely made to look pop-warner against the Baltimore Ravens. Enter a practice squad QB in PJ Walker. In 15 games in the NFL, Walker has only thrown more TD's than INT's in 1 single game! Need we really say anything else? Cleveland is going to need to rely on their defense here, and their defense is very good, but unless the defense finds a way to score points, its hard to figure a path to where this game doesn't end with Niners winning by double digits! 

 

Minnesota Vikings -3

The Vikings will be overlooked by many this week, as the Bears got a win last week and looked decent in doing so. We always try to stay away from recency bias and there is going to be a lot of that on the side of the Bears. Chicago has issues protecting Justin Fields and unless they find a way to prevent him from being pressured by the Minnesota defense, they are in for a long game. Our numbers say Vikings by a touchdown, even on the road!

 

New Orleans Saints -2

Houston Texans QB CJ Stroud has truly shocked us. He is playing great football and being very safe with the football. In 186 passing attempts, he has 0 INT's. This week, he faces the New Orleans Saints, who have 7 defensive players with an INT. This Saints defense is going to rattle the young QB and cause some headaches for him. We like what we've seen from the Saints and see no reason why they don't get a 7 point win. 

 

Las Vegas Raiders -3

This is truly one of the worst New England Patriots teams that we have seen in many years. They are 1-4 overall this year but even more important is the fact that they are just not competitive in games. In the last two games, they've lost 72-3.  That is NOT good at all, and with this game being played in Vegas, can't see them doing much better this week. 

 

LA Rams -7

Rams QB Matthew Stafford has not been having a season to remember but he now gets a chance to be home, and face a Cardinals team that he should be able to settle down, and pick his shots. He got Cooper Kupp back and we think this week, he airs it out. Rams big here!
