Two Top 25 teams in the SEC will square off on Wednesday evening when the 4^th-ranked Tennessee Volunteers travel to Columbia, South Carolina to face the 17^th-ranked South Carolina Gamecocks with the game tipping off at 7:00 PM ET and will air on ESPN 2.

The Tennessee Volunteers will look to extend their winning streak to seven games when they travel to face the 17^th-ranked South Carolina Gamecocks.

The South Carolina Gamecocks enter this game ranked 17^th in the AP Poll and 16^th in the Coaches Poll with an overall record of 24-5 and are in 2^nd place in the SEC with a conference record of 12-4 while having won their last three games in a row including Saturday’s 82-76 win at home against the Florida Gators. The Gamecocks have been one of the best teams in college basketball as they rank 22^nd nationally in points allowed with an average of 65.25 points allowed per game. 

However, South Carolina has been one of the lower-scoring teams this season as they rank 246^th nationally in scoring with an average of 71.71 points per game. Meechie Johnson has been one of the better players for the Gamecocks this season as he leads the team in scoring and steals while being 2^nd on the team in assists with an average of 14.2 points, 3 assists, and 1 steal per game. 

The South Carolina Gamecocks will look to extend their winning streak to four games when they host the 4^th-ranked Tennessee Volunteers on Wednesday evening.
