The Texas A&M Aggies will face the 20^th-ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys in the 2023 Texas Bowl on Wednesday, December 27^th, in Houston, Texas at NRG Stadium with the game scheduled to start at 9:00 PM ET on Wednesday night and will air on ESPN.

 

Texas A&M finished in 4^th place in the West Division of the SEC with a record of 7-5 and won two of their final three games but ended the regular season with a 30-42 loss on the road against the LSU Tigers.

 

Jimbo Fisher never lived up to the expectations the Aggies had for him when they hired him as the head coach for Texas A&M and after a little under six seasons as the head coach in which he compiled a record of 45-25, he was fired as the coach.
