Joshua Van Betting Preview
Van has won his last six battles and just recently recorded his first win in the UFC. Fans got to see him take care of Zhalgas Zhumagulov by a split decision at UFC on ABC 5 in June earlier this year.
He has eight wins so far, which consist of five knockouts, two submissions, and one decision. Two of his eight wins have ended in the first round and his only defeat has come by submission.
With only one UFC fight under his belt, he landed 52 percent of his strikes, but failed on any takedowns. He has an aggressive significant strike output, landing 8.00 significant strikes each minute and taking on 6.87. This will come down a bit, but hopefully it stays in a positive range.
He defends against significant strikes at 64 percent and against takedowns at 80 percent. He did not land any takedowns or submissions in his first fight with the UFC.
Kevin Borjas Betting Preview
Borjas has been victorious in his previous four fights. His last win was a unanimous decision over Victor Dias back at Dana White’s Contender Series in August of this year.
He looked great in his debut for UFC related battles, but now must put his resume to the test. He currently has nine wins, which consist of eight knockouts and a decision. He has five first round finishes and a submission loss.
“El Gallo Negro” landed 45 percent of his strikes and no takedowns in his DWCS/UFC debut. He landed an aggressive 5.80 significant strikes each minute and took on 2.87. This will be key in this fight.
He defended solidly with a rate of 55 percent against significant strikes and 58 percent against takedowns. It will be interesting to see if he lands any ground action.

MyBookie is offering Joshua Van as a moderate favorite to win this battle. Bettors might want to include him in a parlay with other battles on the cards to potentially increase his payout, or look into tithed prop bets.
Borjas looked great in his last battle, but so did Van. This battle will likely end up being a decision in favor of Van.
