Capping off the prelims in the next UFC Fight Night, is a women’s strawweight battle that will help set the tone for the main card. This showdown will be between Lupita Godinez and Elise Reed.

Godinez has won her last two battles, which were both decisive matches. Her recent decision was over Emily Ducote in May of this year back at UFC Fight Night 223.

Throughout her career, she has notched a remarkable tally of 10 victories, which includes an impressive mix of one knockout, one submission, and eight decisions. Interestingly, two of her wins have wrapped up swiftly in the opening round, while her three losses also fall into this category.

Famously known as "Loopy," she has earned a reputation for her exceptional precision within the UFC. Her striking accuracy stands strong at 50 percent, though her takedown success rate is not quite as dazzling at 43 percent. What truly sets her apart is her robust significant strike ratio, where she delivers an impressive 4.16 strikes per minute while absorbing just 3.77.

Reed has been a coin flip in the UFC, as she wins and then loses and has gone 3-3 in her six bouts. Her recent performance was a unanimous decision victory against Jinh Yu Frey back in June earlier this year at UFC on ESPN 46. 

She has one first round finish out of her seven victories. Within those wins, there have been two knockouts and five decisions. Looking at her losses, she has two out of three coming by knockout.

She has been striking with an accuracy at 50 percent, but has a takedown accuracy that is great at 70 percent. Her significant strike ratio is a little bit negative, as she delivers 2.95 strikes each minute and absorbs 3.14.

She has typically landed 0.66 takedowns per 15 minutes of action. As for defense, she does well defending against significant strikes at 53 percent and against takedowns at 50 percent.
