The upcoming UFC Fight Night has an excellent main event showdown waiting for bettors. This will be an explosive lightweight bout between sixth ranked Rafael Fiziev and seventh ranked Mateusz Gamrot.

Rafael Fiziev Betting Preview

Fiziev just had his six-fight winning streak snapped by Justin Gaethje back in March earlier this year. This was a majority decision back at UFC 286, which was an excellent battle despite the loss.

His record boasts a dozen victories, comprising eight knockouts, a single submission, and three unanimous decisions. Impressively, half of these triumphs culminated in first-round finishes, while his only two defeats were one by knockout and the other by decision.

“Ataman” lands strikes with an accuracy at 52 percent and lands takedowns around 40 percent. He averages 5.06 significant strikes each minute, but takes on 5.17. This ratio needs some work if he wants to move higher within the rankings.

He defends against significant strikes at 49 percent and against takedowns at 90 percent. He also averages 0.31 takedowns per 15 minutes of fight time.

Mateusz Gamrot Betting Preview

Gamrot enters this battle fresh off of a split decision victory over Jalin Turner back at UFC 285 in March earlier this year. This got him back on track after a unanimous decision defeat against Beneil Dariush in UFC 280.

He has put together 22 wins so far in his career that have been seven knockouts, five submissions, and 10 decisions. Three of his 22 wins have ended in the first round and both of his defeats have been by decision.

“Gamer” has been striking with an accuracy at 51 percent and somewhat decent takedown attempts at 32 percent. For significant strikes each minute, he lands 3.03 and takes on 3.23. This is a similar ratio to the one Fiziev has, but less aggressive.

He does a good job at defending against significant strikes at 61 percent and against takedowns at 91 percent. He also is aggressive with takedowns at 4.54 and 0.17 submissions per 15 minutes of fight time.
