On Saturday Night, February 17, 2024, UFC 298 will take place from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.  There are 12 fights scheduled for this card and it is stacked from top to bottom with plenty of value from a betting standpoint.  

The Main Event for UFC 298 will feature the UFC Featherweight Champion Alexander "The Great" Volkanovski going back to the Featherweight Division to defend his title against undefeated 27-year old in Ilia Topuria.  Volkanovski has been unstoppable in the featherweight division, with his only two UFC losses coming against current UFC Lightweight Champ, Islam Makhachev.  

On the other side of the octagon, Topuria has never lost as a professional.  He is 14-0 and earned the title shot after winning a unanimous decision over Josh Emmitt at UFC on ABC 5 on June 24, 2023.  

Topuria has fought a very high level of opponent with his last 6 opponents in the UFC having a combined record of 80-12 but Volkanovski is a beast in his own right, and much tougher than anyone on Topuria's resume.  

In the Co-Main Event, we will see former UFC Middleweight Title contender Robert Whittaker taking on another former UFC Middleweight Title contender in Paulo Costa. Both of these guys have lost 2 of their last 3 fights but looking to get back on track to earn a second title fight with current champion, Dricus Du Plessis.  

Costa hasn't stepped in the octagon since August 20, 2022, when he beat now retired Luke Rockhold, by unanimous decision.  Whittaker last fought on July 8, 2023, to current champ Du Plessis, where he was KO'd in the 2^nd round.  

This fight is a strikers delight, as both fighters would prefer to keep the fight standing and turn this into a boxing match inside the cage.
